SRG Hospitality is growing fast — with multiple new venue opening across 2026, we're hiring over 170 team members and we want to meet you in person. The SRG Career Day is your chance to skip the usual application process. Come ready, meet our venue managers, chefs and operations leaders, and fast-track into a role that's right for you.

The Opportunity

Multiple venues, one day

Four new SRG venues are opening across Sydney this winter. Attend Career Day and you're in the running for roles across all of them — not just one.

170+ roles available

Front of house, back of house, casual and full-time. Immediate start opportunities available for the right candidates from June onwards.

Real decisions, on the day

This isn't a job fair where you hand over your resume and wait. Our team is there to hire. Same-day offers go out to candidates who are the right fit.

How the day works

Step 1: Arrive and check in

Pre-registered candidates check in quickly via iPad on arrival.  No waiting around. Come ready to engage from the moment you walk in.

Step 2: Initial screening

A brief conversation with one of our heads of department. We’ll confirm your work rights, availability and what roles make sense for you. This is quick — we’re not here to waste your time.

Step 3: Practical round

FOH candidates will take part in a short guest interaction scenario — we’re looking for personality, presence and communication. BOH candidates will go through a basic skills observation: knife work, prep technique, hygiene awareness. Nothing to stress about, just a chance to show us what you’ve got.

Step 4: Structured interview

Sit down with a venue manager, executive chef or operations leader. We’re looking for attitude, team fit and reliability — someone we’d be happy to have on the floor or in the kitchen on opening night.

Step 5: Walk out with an answer

Before you leave, you’ll receive a clear outcome. That might be a same-day offer, a trial shift invitation, a training day booking, or confirmation that you’ve been added to our talent pool for upcoming openings.

Session Times

Morning session

9:00am – 12:00pm. Ideal if you're free in the morning or have commitments later in the day.

Afternoon session

4:00pm – 6:00pm. Suited to candidates working or studying through the day.

All sessions take place on site — morning from 9:00am and afternoon from 4:00pm.

Easily accessible by public transport — a short walk from Kings Cross station and bus routes along William Street. Street parking available on Cowper Wharf Road.

FAQs

What should I bring on the day?

Your updated resume, valid RSA if you have one, proof of work rights, and your availability — ideally written down or in your phone so you can share it quickly. Dress as you would for a shift.

Do I need experience to attend?

No. We’re hiring across a range of levels, from junior team members through to experienced operators. If you’ve got the right attitude and you’re available to start, come along.

What roles are you hiring for?

We’re primarily hiring casual FOH and BOH staff — waitstaff, bartenders, runners, kitchen hands, prep cooks, commis and line cooks. Full-time opportunities are also available as our venues build out their core teams.

Which venues are hiring?

Roles are available across Ripples Milsons Point, Riva, Ripples Rose Bay and Aqua, with openings staged across June, July and August. Some venues have immediate start requirements; others are building their pipeline for later in the year.

What if I don't get offered a role on the day?

That’s okay. If you attend and you’re a strong candidate, we’ll add you to the SRG talent pool. As our venues open and grow, we’ll be in touch for future opportunities.
